Sharon Hyman has been living happily ever apart from her beau David for over 25 years.

Ms. Hyman started to research the topic of apartnering over a decade ago and discovered that up to 40% of American couples sleep apart and almost 1 in ten couples live apart! So she decided to direct the first-ever feature documentary on the subject, with the goal of normalizing and de-stigmatizing “living apart together” relationships. She wishes to show that there is no cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all way to love, it’s all about options.
So it is time to think outside the box - or house!
Ms. Hyman also founded a Facebook group called Apartners (Living Apart Together) which has thousands of members from every corner of the globe, likely the largest “living apart together” online community in the world. Come join us!
